Alcoholization

This anecdote happened about 30 years ago, during the harvest season, when the company produced alcoholic must to sweeten wines. In this process, it was needed the presence of an inspectors of the ‘National Institute of Viticulture’ (INV) and of the ‘Internal Tax Revenue Office’ (DGI, now AFIP). It was a problem, as must did not meet the quantity of liters for the alcohol volume. Hours went by and nothing happened … the mood of the DGI inspector was fading as hours passed.

At 3 pm, the inspector told us that he was hungry and the alcoholization process could not be still finished, but when he was invited to go into the courtyard of the house, where a table had a lamb served on it, he said: “If I had known this, we would not have discussed”
