In 1957, the women’s liberation was in its infancy. The place of women neglected and despised by a sexist society, left anonymity and position of both public and private sector were no longer prohibited for representatives of the “weaker” sex.
In Los Toneles winery, the romance between a lady of stock in the company and a young worker shocked everyone. They were punished and prevented from approaching each other. But the young man worked tirelessly and improved the quality of a wine forgotten by palates: the wine of the cask 137. He researched, studied, and working day and night, his product attained quality and prestige, managing to establish itself as the new flagship of Los Toneles. This way, he achieved everyone’s recognition, and the relationship was accepted.
Tonel 137 (in English: cask) represents the dedication, devotion, love and pleasure to fight for what one loves.
