In the coming weeks, Bodega Eclipse will be again in China to visit customers already in the market and to generate new ones. The intention is to double its wine exports to the Asian market.
The winery exports 70% of its production to the Eastern giant where it counts on half a dozen importers, but the idea is to add a few more in other provinces of the country. Speaking of the tour, Ana Stocco, Eclipse Export Director, revealed that “the main mission is to strengthen the relationship with them, chart patterns with new customers and improve the communication in general.” The executive anticipated that the company will also participate in “different promotional activities to be undertaken by importers in the framework of this visit.”
In those distant lands, Eclipse has had good performance in red generic entry, but also in other varietals. “Malbec is definitely the strongest, but the important thing is that our best wines are increasingly demanded, what is more, those over the low price segments.” Finally, Stocco recalled that the winery is also present in UK, Poland, USA, Dominican Republic, Uruguay, Peru, Venezuela and Brazil. They are also closing a deal with the Netherlands, Japan and India.
