About us

Antigal was established by the Peiró family inside the shell of a historic winery in Russell, Maipú, whose origin dates back to 1897. Its current design harmonizes with the appearance of the era in which it was erected. Maipú is a district considered as "the cradle of wine" and the most important area for Argentine wines. Located only 25 km away from the city of Mendoza, Antigal is part of the Wine Routes.

Horacio Peiró and his brother Alexis fulfilled their ancestral dream by means of this winery which pays tribute and complements the vineyards that their European ancestors began at the turn of the century in Mendoza. This is the way Antigal Winery & Estates was born with the aim of producing Premium wines with the latest technology and equipment, in order to achieve the highest standards of quality at a global level during every stage of the winemaking process. A group of highly trained engineers and technicians at the vineyards and winery offer their expertise for the creation of these Premium wines.
