About us

Bodegas Callia is the lively expression of a new generation of wines. It managed to express in its products a pleasant and fruity profile, highlighting their style and personality.

Bodegas Callia is located in San Juan province, at the foot of Pie de Palo Hill which, together with the Andes Mountains, shapes Tulum Valley. The average height of the Valley is 630 meters above sea level, with an average annual temperature of 63° F and very low annual rainfall (under 200 millimetres). The winery's vineyards are located in Tulum Valley (241 ha) and Pedernal Valley (350 ha), both sharing an ideal microclimate and soils of diverse characteristic (alluvial sandy and clay loam) in a desert climate. A drip irrigation system is applied in 100% of the estates, supplying each plant with the necessary water for the optimum development of its canopy. From January to March, daytime temperatures vary between 86° F and 94° F and the region has a temperature range of 59° F, which results in very good grape ripening.
