As Decero means "from scratch", this way Finca Decero was born, from a land that once was a bare patch of soil in the Argentine foothills of the Andes. Its owners nurtured this singular vineyard, vine by vine, free of any kind of ties and with the commitment to quality. They performed this task by hand, in a sustainable way, respecting nature and knowing in detail its soil. Only this way, the winery's wines will be honest, a true expression of the unique character of its "Remolinos" Vineyard.
This vineyard, named after its tiny "whirlwinds" developed over vineyards just before harvest, was planted in a beautiful and desolate spot, in Agrelo, Mendoza. The planning of the vineyard was meticulous and based on its owners' conviction and sensitivity to the natural attributes of this land, planting only grape varieties suited to Agrelo's terroir, with the aim of causing only the minimum environmental impact.
