Sogrape has recently acquired ‘Bodegas LAN’, Spanish benchmark wine group in the regions of Rueda and Ribera del Duero.

This is the first time a Portuguese company buys a major Spanish wine-producing company. This operation represents the entry of the leading Portuguese enterprise into the second wine-producing country in Europe.

After this acquisition in Spain, Sogrape consolidates its Globalization process as it has been done with Finca Flichman in 1997 (Argentina), Framingham (New Zealand) in 2008, and Los Boldos (Chile), in 2008.
