About us

Monte Cinco is a dream which began in Italy in the late 19th century, when Mr Pedro Bertona and his family arrived in Argentina.

Mr Pedro was born on March 29, 1888 in Vergano de Borgomanero (Novara), in the Italian Piedmont region. After visiting Brazil, he came to Argentina and settled in Mendoza, beginning his winemaking work in Luján de Cuyo.
Pedro Bertona’s grandchildren have continued his dream with the aim of producing the best wine from a vineyard planted 80 years ago.

In this way, Monte Cinco is conceived: the aromas of a dream living on its cellar.
