About us

Seven years ago, a group of Argentinian businessmen dreamt of taking their know-how to wine making. This is how "Montechez Estates and Wineries" was born. This firm expresses the magic communion of the mountain and the moon at sunset. Chez, which means "moon" in Huarpe language, recalls the indigenous culture which worked these lands and developed a system of "acequias", which nowadays gives life to the vineyards in Mendoza.

This enthusiastic project has three estates situated at the foot of the Andes: two of them in Valle de Uco and the other one in Luján de Cuyo. In this exceptional scenery, intense and fruity wines, enhancing the special features of each varietal and terroir which brought them to life, are born.
