Wineries Rally 2012

On Friday, March 16, the 10th edition of the Wineries Rally (“Rally de las Bodegas”) will be held in Mendoza, Argentina. Over 70 classic cars will go through the amazing Wine Route.

Wines

FINCA LAS PALMAS CHARDONNAY 2007

Grape variety: Chardonnay 100%
Sight:
Nose: In the nose, it displays citric and tropical fruit aromas combined with spiced notes.
Mouth: In the mouth, it has a sweet and ample attack.

FINCA LAS PALMAS CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2008

Grape variety: Cabernet Sauvignon 100%
Sight:
Nose: It displays aromas of leather, cassis, forest fruits and spicy notes of red pepper
Mouth: After an 18 month aging in French oak barrels, it shows a round body, toasty notes and caramel flavors in the mouth that turned it into a powerful and elegant wine.

TRAPICHE MALBEC SINGLE VINEYARD VIÑA FAUSTO 2007

Grape variety: Malbec 100%
Sight: this Malbec has a red-purple color and a strong mineral character, punctuated by graphite and ink notes
Nose: the nose is intense and perfumed with violet and black pepper
Mouth: concentrated and juicy in the mouth, with tastes of bright fruit such as blackberries, currantes and morello cherries. The finish is intense, long and lingering with ripe tannins.
